I'll be home for Christmas...

Christmas has been spent home in CT this year, with both my parents and my in-laws! It's been a really low-key holiday, which is just what the doctor ordered. It even started snowing on Christmas Eve, while we were sipping our hot cocoa and watching 'It's a Wonderful Life'-it can't get much better than that!  And after a rough couple of weeks, we've all been remembering what this holiday is all about-the blessings in life that money can't buy.

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!

O Christmas Tree

December is here, and we're in full on 'Holiday House' over here at the G house :)

The fire is lit, holiday music is playing, and the tree is up!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

A Traditional VT Thanksgiving

Our annual trip to VT was delayed a few hours due to some car troubles....but we made the most of it, and met some really nice people, who took time out of their own holiday to help us.
It really set the tone for Thanksgiving....

When we got to VT, it was all about the food time. Rather than go to the Ye Olde Tavern, we decided to cook a traditional Thanksgiving meal at the house. Everyone had their dishes to prepare, and it went off without a hitch! The rest of the weekend was spent shopping at the outlets, and enjoying some VT scenery...

Family, Friends, Food, Fun.....Until next year, Vermont!
