My Best Friend's Wedding

Well not quite yet-but my best friend Madison just got engaged!!!! {Jumps up and down shrieking yayyyyy} She is honestly the most thoughtful person I have ever met, always putting everyone else before her-but now it is her time to shine, and I'm so excited for her. She has a great guy who worships her, and they deserve all the happiness that comes her way-I can't wait to celebrate along with her!!

A Fall Wedding

This past weekend, Nick and I headed 'out west' aka...western MA-the Berkshires and although the weather wasn't great-the wedding iteself was beautiful-bride and groom were beaming the entire night and we all had a blast dancing the night away.  Being seated next to the bar didn't hurt either :) :)

Weekend Getaway-Maine

Over labor day weekend I was able to getaway with my parents and husband to Maine-the weather was beautiful and we even got to sit front row at a Stonewall Kitchen for a cooking class and the menu featured Lobster! It was soOoOo good!!

A Morning Walk

This morning, the weather was awesome-sunny, not to hot, a cool breeze, it was almost too good to be true. So after dropping off N at work, Gertie and I decided to walk around the grounds (natch).  He works outside of Boston right next to a wildlife sanctuary-the kind with paths, and short fences- nothing too exciting.

The sanctuary was so peaceful early in the morning and we even saw some wildlife-okay a hen/pheasant thing but hey, it's Boston, so we take what we can get!

Then I found out the property was built on the grounds of an old mental institution....think shutter island, without the island...then we came across a super creepy abandoned building, probably the main house.

 The sun streaming in across the field was so pretty

And of course when I try to sneak in some exercise by doing some 'high knees' Gertie came at me with a vengenance...how dare I try and work out while we're walking....it's serious business...

But don't worry, we made up and we're friends again:

My husband and I love Fenway Park, and going to college down the street, I have sooo many great memories of the place. And with amazing seats,  a walk off home run win last night by Ellsbury, fenway franks, and my awesome in-laws? It was basically the perfect night!
