Summer Wedding: Andy & Lena

Last weekend, we went on a little road trip to Colby College for the wedding of Nick's good childhood friend Andy and his bride, Lena. It was a beautiful day and every detail was perfectly planned out, from releasing balloons in front of their campus quad to handkerchiefs for 'happy tears'. The food was delish and the 80s tunes had us on the dance floor all night!

August Blues

As a teacher, the summer is a time to relax, read, catch up with friends and rejuvenate for the upcoming school year. I LOVE the summers! August, however...I could do without.

Especially the end of August-there's this feeling I get that is part anxiety, part excitement, part dread, part anticipation and it just doesn't go away.  Last week, I woke up at 2a.m. because I had a vision of how I wanted to re-arrange my classroom and I had to get it out on paper-who does that?!

 So, until the school year starts, I'll be over here with that icky feeling in the pit of my stomach....that is until I go back to school shopping-then it's just pure excitement!! :)

Showers of Happiness

This weekend, my cousins and I hosted a bridal shower for my cousin Jackie. We all had a blast! 

The Groom-to-be is from England, so we went with a British theme. 

Which was SO easy with the London olympics. Great timing on their part :)

Wedding Weekend: Katie and Chris

This past weekend, we were so fortunate to be a part of Nick's cousin's wedding weekend.

We beached, partied, drank, ate, danced, and spent time with friends and family.
